And today is no different, as another short fella from The Hobbit has been revealed online. This time it’s Richard Armitage as Thorin Oakenshield, a fearsome leader of dwarves. Oakenshield’s backstory is intimately tied to that of giant dragon Smaug, who destroyed the dwarf kingdom of Erebor and slaughtered many of his kin. Continuing the shaggy-haired look of the dwaves, Armitage looks nothing short of fearsome as Oakenshield.
